Getting a car through its retest
A failure sheet is a list, not a verdict. Most of what is on one is a part and an hour, and you are not obliged to have it put right by whoever tested it.
Bring the sheet to the phone and read it down the line. Corroded brake pipes, worn discs and pads, suspension bushes, bulbs, wipers and emissions faults are the usual entries, and most of them are a driveway job.
We repair the failures. We do not test: this is a mobile service, so there is no test bay and no certificate issued here. The car goes back to the station that tested it for its retest.
